The pursuit of trout has taken me to the most beautiful places – my local Crane Creek, the mountains of Montana and Wyoming, the vastness of San Juan, and the Deschutes and Metolius in Oregon. And the pursuit of quality has created Clover Fly Box. All products are handmade in Oklahoma by me, John Clover, a life-long fly fisherman and nature enthusiast. The leather is handcrafted and waterproofed for functionality and style. These boxes and wallets were inspired by nature, and the simple pleasures we find in calm currents, new hatches, and the pursuit of the wild.

After selecting the leather and shaping the pieces, I dye and water resistant it for functionality and classic style. I use custom stamps to emboss the leather, and many of the pieces have a hook for lanyard attachment. CFB creations look great and people often compliment me, as they will you.

Unlike the simple placement of a book under my arm by my father with the instruction to learn how to cast, I have spent hours teaching others how to fly fish. I have taught my children, friends, and students how to cast, tie, strip, and mend. The passing of knowledge is just as important as the passing of a heritage piece. Both are part of a legacy.
